The River City Yacht Club is a private room located on the second floor. It overlooks the Mississippi River and can hold up to 120 people. The room has its own bar, stage, and dance floor.
Our newest addition, the Wheel House, seats 80 people, has a great river view, and a full service bar. The Wheel House is great for dinner parties, rehearsal dinners, or meetings. This secluded area is great for any event!
The main restaurant has two semi-private areas with room for up 20 people. The Ice Cream Parlor is located in the main room and the Bar Cubby is in the bar area. These areas can be reserved.

Barbeque is the oldest method of cooking known to man. In general, the term barbeque refers to meat that is slowly cooked with the heat and smoke of smoldering wood or charcoal. The first people in this country to use this method of cooking were the American Indians.
Here at Port Cape Girardeau, we have built a wide-spread reputation for serving the finest in barbeque. A combination of hickory wood and charcoal is used to create a unique flavor.
We take our time in the cooking process. BBQ doesn’t just happen. The pork and beef used for the sandwiches and dinners will cook for up to 12 hours in the pit before it meets our criteria of the best barbeque. Meat cooked this way becomes so tender it will fall off the bone when gently pulled - thus the term “pulled” barbeque.
The ribs have to be smoked for an average of seven hours to achieve the right color and smoke penetration for our standards. We believe that barbeque has become an art form and we truly hope you enjoy ours.

The best part of our meal was our server, Savanah, who was so sweet and fun but highly professional. My sister and I absolutely loved the BBQ ribs. Tender and smoky. Really delicious. And the servings were so large we enjoyed them again the next day.

I've had the salmon and asparagus, baked potatoes, catfish, baked beans, ice cream, lemon pepper wings, everything I've had has always been perfectly on point. It's always seasoned to perfection and anybody with taste buds is really going to love this place. We had great waitresses, Taylor and Sierra, and the place just had a positive vibe all the way around.

I LOVE the belaires, cheesy potatoes that are sooo good! They have a pork tenderloin that is delicious, too! I'm sure they have a lot more great items on the menu, however it's hard to break away from the tenderloin. Very cool building and neat ambiance.

The BBQ is quite flavorful - better than anything I ate in Memphis. Also enjoyed the pork steak and the "all you can eat" fried catfish as the Friday special. My dining partner had some wonderful smoked chicken wings. All the dishes were reasonably priced.

And all of their delicious food. Their BBQ really is awesome...but they have more options than BBQ and we are never disappointed. They recently started serving breakfast and my husband and I decided to give it a try. It was DElicious! Made from scratch biscuits and sausage gravy...the best I've ever had. Even the coffee was better than most. We will be back...and often!
~ Mary Jane Caldwell
The potato skins are the BEST! They have the best fried catfish in town. The blue cheese burger is the best burger I have found around and I do not even like blue cheese. The steaks are also very good.

Olivia was very flexible and accommodating to our needs; she was absolutely phenomenal in her treatment of us. On that evening our bartenders, Matt & Taylor, provided superior service to our guests. The food ... oh my... was simply divine! Our guests went back for seconds and were quite profuse with their compliments. Thank you to the kitchen and staff for making our special day absolutely magical!
